While we’re all programmed with our trusty biological clocks (24-hour sleep cycle of Circadian Rhythm), not all of our clocks are programmed equal. ‘Night owls’ and ‘early birds’ are exactly that by genetics.
For the early birds, their peak of wakefulness is the crack of dawn, and for the night owls, much later in the day. Approximately 40% of us are early birds, 30% night owls, and the remaining 30% lie somewhere in between.
